Cookie policy
Last updated: Oct 30, 2026
PompeQC uses no audience measurement, advertising or tracking cookies. Our visit statistics (Cloudflare Web Analytics) work without cookies and store nothing in your browser. That is why we do not show a consent banner: we only use what is strictly necessary for the features you expressly request.
What we use
| Name | Type | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|---|
vid | First-party functional cookie | Random identifier so that each person votes only once per station. Created only when you vote. | 1 year |
calc-consumo, calc-litros | Local storage, preference | Remembers the fuel consumption and litres of the “Is the detour worth it?” calculator. | Until deleted |
__cf_bm, cf_clearance | Cloudflare cookies, security | Tell humans and bots apart. Only appear if Cloudflare detects suspicious traffic. | 30 min / up to 1 year |
Local storage never leaves your browser: our server cannot read it. None of these items is used to identify you, locate you or build a profile of you. Cloudflare adds a small visit-statistics script (Cloudflare Web Analytics) to the pages, which stores nothing in your browser. If we ever add other kinds of cookies, we will ask for your consent first.
How to delete them
You can delete cookies and local storage in your browser settings. The site will keep working; you will only lose your preferences and the ability to change your previous votes.
